1. Scope
This policy applies to the website hosted on thorsensystems.com, Reel Rich versions distributed through authorized storefronts and platforms, and related cloud-save and gaming services. Empire Acres has its own privacy policy on playempireacres.com.
2. Information handled by the game
Game progress stored on your device. Reel Rich stores save data such as currency, gear levels, unlocked waters, Fish Book records, trophies, variants, voyages, settings, save revisions, and timestamps. This information is necessary to preserve your progress.
Platform cloud saves and gaming services. On supported devices, Reel Rich may use Apple iCloud and Game Center or Google Play Games Services and Saved Games. Those services may process your platform identifier, authentication status, cloud-save data, achievements, or leaderboard values when the applicable feature is enabled. TSG does not receive your Apple, Google, or Microsoft password.
Portable Save Codes. A Save Code is created only when you request one. It represents game progress for manual transfer or recovery. It remains under your control unless you choose to send it to us for support.
Support communications. If you email us, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to provide so we can respond.
Website request data. Our hosting and security provider may process limited technical data such as IP address, browser or device type, requested URL, and request time to deliver and protect these pages.
3. Information we do not collect
The current release does not contain third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs. We do not collect advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or payment-card numbers. Storefront operators handle purchases and payment information under their own policies.
4. How information is used
- Save, restore, synchronize, and protect game progress.
- Provide supported achievements, leaderboards, licensing, and platform features.
- Answer support requests and diagnose reported problems.
- Maintain the security, reliability, and availability of our official pages.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
5. Service providers and disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed by the platform you use, such as Apple, Google, or Microsoft, and by infrastructure providers that help distribute the game, host official pages, or protect those services. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy.
Reel Rich's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or our rights, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention and deletion
Local progress remains on your device until you delete the game's data or uninstall it, subject to device backups. Cloud saves remain according to the settings and retention practices of the applicable platform. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request and maintain appropriate business records.
You can remove local data through your device or app-storage controls and manage platform data through your Apple, Google, or Microsoft account. You may also contact us with a privacy request. We may need enough information to verify and fulfill that request, and some platform-managed data must be handled directly by the platform provider.
Visit our data deletion page to request deletion by email, erase Reel Rich save copies stored in this browser, or find the separate Empire Acres deletion service. Deleting a browser save does not delete platform cloud saves or submit a request for other data.
7. Children
Reel Rich does not require a TSG account and is not designed to collect personal information from children. A child who is not old enough to manage a platform account or make a purchase independently should use Reel Rich only with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian.
8. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the limited information we handle. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Platform and infrastructure providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable safeguards.
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when Reel Rich, applicable law, or our service providers change. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
